Esther Weber, a long time resident of Ingleside, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2013. She was born on August 6, 1931 to Philip and Katherine (nee Schneider) Weber in Gering, Nebraska.

Esther spent her life as a candy maker, bringing joy to all those who ate the treats she made. She enjoyed working in her garden, walking, hiking, as well as fishing, and in her spare time she enjoyed watching TV.

Esther will be deeply missed by her dear sister, Lydia Carl, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Philip, Fred, Walter Jr, Annie, Emma, Rose, and Clara.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and resume on Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home,12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park.
