Eileen C. Smith, a Round Lake Beach resident since 1972, passed away on January 26, 2012. She was born on October 12, 1937 in Ontario, Canada to James and Mary (nee Colette) O'Neill.
She was involved with the Round Lake Park District Senior Center and a member Happy Seniors. She was a former member and volunteer at Villa Desiderata in McHenry.
Eileen will be deeply missed by her dear daughters Michelle (John) Letarte of Lecanto, FL and Katherine "Kathy" (Paul) Husko of Lindenhurst; her grandchildren Jessica and Jaimie Miller and Wayne Husko; her sister Margaret Torgerson of Canada; and her nephews Ted, Ken and Tim Torgerson. Many other loving friends and family also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne A. Smith and by her parents.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 3 until the time of the 6:30 PM service at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. (1 Blk. West of Rte. 12 and A
