Edward J. Zalatoris, 100, of Antioch, died October 11, 2017, at Paradise Park, Fox Lake.

He was born February 23, 1917, in Chicago, to the late Annie (nee Nekoven) and Peter Zalatoris.

Mr. Zalatoris was a supervisor with Johns Manville, and retired after working there for over 30 years.  He was a life-long boater on the Chain of Lakes, pioneered Little League baseball in Antioch, loved fixing old boats, and enjoyed driving motorhomes and vans.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Vicky) Zalatoris.

Mr. Zalatoris was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable Zalatoris; second wife, Elizabeth Zalatoris; son, Peter Zalatoris; and siblings, Genevieve and William.
