Edward R. Connell, 75, of Ingleside, passed away on Friday, January 7th, 2011. He was born in Chicago on July 31st, 1935 to Edward and Emily (Milanowski) Connell.

Edward was the scout master of troop 179 and was instrumental in helping 12 young men become Eagle Scouts. He also enjoyed fishing and painting with oils. Edward served in the US Navy Construction Battalion during the Korean Conflict and served in the Air force in the field maintenance squadron.

Edward will be deeply missed by his loving wife Adele (Gulbrandsen) Connell; his children Ed (Eileen) Connell, Ron (Lora) Connell, Kelly (Steve) Sears; his grandchildren Coryn, Colin, Chelsey, Steven, Breeanna, Aimee, and Angela; his sister Patricia (Edward) Hatter; and many dear relatives.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12th beginning at 1:00 PM until the service at 3:00 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
