It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Kazmier, who left us peacefully on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at the age of 87. Donna was a beloved sister, aunt, and cousin, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Donna was the cherished daughter of the late Jan & Stefania (Przytocka) Jez.  She was a devoted aunt to her nephews and nieces, and was treasured by many relatives and friends.

Donna is survived by her two sisters, Irena Raslawski and Ludwika (Louise) Andrejko who were her closest companions and confidantes. She was preceded in death by another sister, Janina Kuczynski. Everyone who knew her will forever remember her generous spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering support.

Donna had a passion for cooking, and she spent much of her time working in the deli at the family sausage shop in Chicago and at Jewel in Fox Lake. Her home was always open to family and friends, where she hosted countless gatherings filled with love, laughter, and delicious meals. She also enjoyed shopping trips and lunch dates with her sisters, and reminiscing about her beloved Siamese cat, Mitzi.

Donna will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
