Donald T. Williams Sr., 72, a longtime resident of Fox Lake, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was born in Chicago on September 29, 1941 to Joseph and Stephanie (nee Kowatch) Williams.

Don owned and operated Don Williams Concrete Construction, he enjoyed traveling up North to his cabin, loved his dog "Murphy," enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino, and especially loved spending time with his five grandsons of which he instilled all values of himself into them.

Don will be deeply missed by his loving companion of over 17 years, Theresa; his dear children Donald T. Williams Jr., David M. (Diane) Williams, Daniel (Sally) Williams; by his cherished grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Joshua, Christopher and Daniel Williams Jr.; his dear siblings, Patricia (Charles) Wilde, John Williams, Timothy Williams, Bernard Williams, Nancy (Lawrence) Lonergan, Robert Williams, Helene Kukuk, Eileen (Robert) Nicoll; his brother in-law, Robert Hartig, 91 nieces and nephews, and many other dear relatives also survive.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Thomas Williams, JoAnne Hartig, Mary Ellen Maxson, and Joseph Williams. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. All are invited to go directly to St. Bede Church, Saturday March 15, for the 10 a.m. Mass, 36455 N. Wilson Road, Ingleside.

Interment will be private. Memorials in his name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
