Donald J. Bieschke, 82, of Round Lake Beach, formerly of Grayslake and Chicago, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 25.
Donald was born September 18, 1930, in Chicago, IL to George and Clara (nee Korosacke) Bieschke. He proudly served the Korean war in the United States Army. He enjoyed bowling, was very religious, a kind, loving, caring, genuine, person to everyone he met. Known as a "Gentle Giant."
Donald is survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Also, by a sister in-law Sally, and by many other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Audrey, his parents, his brother
George and twin sister, Delores.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and again Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers said at 9 a.m. at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home 12 N. Pistakee Lake rd., Fox Lake, then processing to St. Bede Church 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside for 10 a.m. Funeral Mass.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside. All are invited to meet at the cemetery office by 12:30 p.m. for the committal service.
Masses in Donald's memory would be greatly appreciated.
