Delores Kory (Nee Szura) age 86

A longtime Fox Lake, Il. area resident, formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday Sept. 1, 2009 at the Alden Long Grove Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

She was born on Jan 13, 1923 to Walter and Agnes (nee Krol) Szura, in Chicago, Il. where she was united in marriage to John Joseph Kory on Aug. 10, 1940 at St. Stanislaus Kosta Catholic Church. She was a real estate

Broker whose greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by :Her daughters: Dianne Lee Kory R.N. of Ingleside,Il. Kristen (Timothy) Kory - Mc Cormack of Ingleside, Il.

Grandchildren Kory (Joseph) Eernisse of Port Washington, Wi. Brendon Mc Cormack of Ingleside,Il. Grandchildren: Keeghan and Morgan Mc Cormack and Olivia and Cael Eernisse and by her sister Charlotte Kanaby of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes (nee Krol) Szura , her husband John J. Kory on 4/3/01, brothers Stanley, Henry, and by sister Jacqueline Szura. Visitations will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday Sept. 4, 2009 and again on Sat .morning from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home 12 N. Pistakee Lk.

A Sat. 11:00 a.mCatholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 2302 W. Church St. Johnsburg, Il. 60051 with Father Robert Balog officiating.
