Dolly Medine, a resident of Fox Lake since 1951, passed away on July 19, 2012. She was born on March 7, 1918 in Chicago to Hilmer and Margarit (nee Dahlquist) Salo.
She was a member of the Woman's Auxillary at the American Legion, Post 703 and enjoyed crocheting afghans.
Dolly will be deeply missed by her dear children, Curtis C. (Carol) Medine, Richard (Donna) Medine, Allen (Barbara) Medine, Linnea (Tim) Lisk); her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and by her niece and nephew, Marjorie Dispenza and Karl (Lorraine) Romanow.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Curtis "Curt" E. Medine and her son, Wayne Medine, and by her parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 23, 2012, from 5 -9 PM, and Tues. from 8:30 until the 10 AM funeral service at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment at East Fox Lake Cemetery.
