Diane Marie Thullen of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on August 21, 2023. She was born in Arlington
Heights, Illinois on September 26, 1959. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Joseph and
Gail Virginia (Harvey) Thullen.
Diane worked for Quigley Health Services in Ft. Myers, Florida. Previously she worked at Suburban
Trim and Glass Corporation in Arlington Heights, Illinois and at Oakwood Corporate Housing in Schaumburg, Illinois. In her
free time, Diane enjoyed bowling, playing cards and traveling with her partner, Tim. She was also a huge
dog lover and enjoyed spoiling her fur babies, Haley and Harley.
Survivors include her devoted partner of 22 years, Tim Gronke; brothers, John J. (Teresa) Thullen and
James A. Thullen; nieces, Cassandra (Casey) Fisher and Nicole (Brian) Spaeth; and nephew, Grant
(Alexandra) Thullen; as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Diane also leaves behind a daughter of
the heart, Jessica Butler, with whom she had a loving relationship for many years.
Diane will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Johnsburg, Illinois; the service will be
private.
