Diane G. Strid, 80, died July 9, 2023, in Lincolnshire, IL.  Diane was born July 24, 1942, in Chicago, IL to Evar and Bonita (nee Toler) Strid.

Diane lived in the Chicago area, Florida, and Libertyville, IL.  Diane had a long career as an Administrative Secretary in the fields of law and higher education.  Diane loved working on her computer, projects around the house, cooking, and listening to jazz.  She also loved animals, nature, especially trees which reminded her of her childhood home.

Diane is survived by her brother, R. James Strid (Linda); sister Mary Geier (Howard); cherished nephews J. Evar Strid (John Wesley), James Strid (Kelly Goodwin), Kurt Geier (Ana), and Carl Geier (Sheila) as well as great nieces and nephews.

Urn burial will be private in Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
