Diane M. Raasch
Diane M. Raasch, age 58. A 30 year resident of Round Lake, IL died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at NIMC.

She was born on December 10, 1949 in Evanston, IL and was united in marriage to Glenn J. Raasch on March 25, 1971 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Fremont Center. Following the ceremony the couple traveled in a horse and buggy "in a surrey with the fringe on top" to their wedding reception at the Countryside Fire Station banquet hall. Diane had formerly worked for the Round Lake School District office, was a member of the PTA, was an avid reader, and kept the books for their family business, G&D Trucking. She enjoyed vacationing at Disney World in Florida with her family.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Glenn J. Raasch of Round Lake, IL; her son, Charles Raasch of Ingleside, IL: granddaughters, Cassidy Taylor Raasch and Devin Nicole Raasch; by her dog, Sassy; and by many friends.

Private Services were arranged for with the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lk. Rd., Fox Lake, IL (The Chapel On The Lake). Interment was private.
