Delores Stone (nee Bowen) age 86

A resident of Leisure Village Fox Lake since 1998 died Friday Jan. 29, 2010 in Lindenhurst, Il.
She was born on May 12, 1923 in Chicago, Il. to William and Eileen (nee Powers) Bowen, and was united in marriage on June 1, 1946 in Chicago to William Stone.
Delores taught at the Clearview Elementary School in Waukegan, Il. for over 21 years. Her final years there were spent teaching special education. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Spring Grove, Il., where she was a lector , and a member of their Mother's Club. She was also member of the Retired Teachers Association and enjoyed playing bridge.
She will be greatly missed by her children:

Stephen (Donna) Stone of Antioch, Il.
Eileen (Brian) Russo of Lake Villa, Il.
Grandchildren: Stephen (Megan) Stone of Baton Rouge, Louisianna Sean Burrell of Carterville, Il. Stacey (Chris) Dolbier of Conn., Samantha "Sam" Stone of Mass., J.T. Stone of Ingleside, Il. and Sabrina Stone of Madison, Wisconsin.
3 Great Grandchildren: Sydney Dolbier, Timothy Stone, and Emma Stone.
She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Stone on May 10, 2002, and by her parents.
Visitations will be on Monday Feb. 1, 2010 from 4-8 P.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home
