Deborah "Debi" Tichy, 68, of Ingleside, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Advocate Condell Medical Center Libertyville.

Debi grew up in Bolingbrook and Romeoville.  She married Phill Tichy on November 16, 1984, and they spent over 40 wonderful years together.  Debi enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas and at Ho-Chunk Casino.  In her spare time she loved planting flowers, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Phill Tichy; stepchildren, Sandra (Chris) Smith, Jennifer (Corey) Jenkins, Phillip (Aiden) Tichy and their families; siblings, Donny (Robin), Cindy, Patty (Brad), and Bobby (Karen); and many nieces and nephews.

Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dell (nee Ferkaluk) Shabatura; and sister, Eileen (Kenny).

Visitation Saturday, January 18, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Burial will follow at Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
