David S. Peters, a long time resident of Spring Grove since 1963, passed away on August 2, 2013. He was born on December 9, 1960 in El Paso, TX to Joseph D. and Rose Marie (nee Kerscher) Peters.
He was a music lover whether it was listening to music, collecting records or singing songs in German. He also loved collecting photographs, Detroit and its history, trains, enjoying a pizza and Coke. He was also an avid fan of former mayor Richard J. Daley. He was the oldest of 3 sons.
David is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Rose Marie; his brothers, Mark and Bruce, and by a nephew, Tyler. Many dear aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather starting at 2 p.m. and are welcome to remain after the service to visit. The location is All Saints Lutheran Church, 5800 State Park Road, Fox Lake, IL 60020
