Darwin Follman, age 90, a long time resident of Fox Lake passed away on November, 10, 2010.

He was born in Chicago on May 24, 1920 and was an Army veteran of WW II and was stationed in Iceland. He was a member of the Medinah Shriners for over 25 years, as well as fireman for the Fox Lake Fire Department and Fox Lake Village Board Member for 14 years. Darwin enjoyed playing bingo with the Fox Lake Fire Department and going to the casino.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Wilma, who he was united to in marriage on October 4, 1947 and his dear neighbors Wally and Lillian.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 3 PM until 7 PM, including a 6:30 p.m. funeral service with Reverend Lisle Kauffman officiating at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake, IL.
