Daniel W. Lewey Sr. of McHenry, born January 17, 1959 in Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully at Centegra McHenry Hospital Saturday, October 22, 2011.
Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a motorcycle enthusiast, who was known for always lending a helping hand.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Ann (nee Akers) Lewey; dear children, Melanie (Kevin) Raditz of Kenosha, Wis., JoAnna Inez Marie, and Daniel W. (Jamie Nelson) Lewey of Spring Grove; his beloved mother, Inez Mae (nee Lenzen) Kubis; his brothers, Richard Allen (Linda) Lewey of Fla., John Howard (Roxanne) Lewey of Richmond, and Gene "Spooter" Allen (Stacey) Kubis of McHenry; and adored granddaughter AnnaBella Rose (Boo-Boo) Lewey.
Daniel is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other dear relatives, friends and a large extended family.
He was preceeded in death by his father Howard Gene Kubis.

A memorial visitation beginning 4 until 8 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 6 p.m. will be held at CrossPoint Church 27430 West Nippersink Road, Ingleside, IL.
