Daniel was born September 29th, 1994, to Bill and Cindy LaPrise. As a kid he loved catching bugs, trapping squirrels, and exploring the outdoors.

He knew from a young age that he wanted to be in the Navy Special Forces and trained extensively towards this goal. He left for bootcamp in November of 2015.  He served in the Air Rescue component of Navy Special Warfare from 2016 until his medical discharge in 2019.

Daniel was known as a man of remarkable strength, perseverance, and grit who pursued excellence in all things.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, building fires, and caring for his Icelandic sheep. He felt most at home when camping out of his truck and spent significant time adventuring from the deserts of California to the mountains of Washington.

Following his discharge from the Navy, he spent time working on the family farm with cows, sheep, and beehives he maintained.

After a season of searching, Daniel encountered the living God and came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior in the Spring of 2021.  He went home to be with his Lord on Friday, April 28th, 2023.

Daniel is loved and missed by his father William LaPrise, mother Cynthia LaPrise, sister Laura Sutton, sister Kristen LaPrise, and a broad extended family of his brothers-in-law, niece, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
