Constance "Connie" Margaret Malato, nee Jennes, 59, of Wauconda, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Alden of Long Grove.

She was born April 11, 1958, in Chicago, to Patricia Ann and the late William Francis Jennes.

Connie was a graduate of Good Counsel High School and was a fashion artist.  Spending time with family and friends—especially her granddaughter—was very important to Connie, as well as enjoying her animals, flowers, flower arranging, and going to movies.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Brian Masi; children, Lauren (Anton) Stanley, Eden Malato, and Hunter Wegner; granddaughter, Star Stanley; mother, Patricia Ann (nee Bowling) Jennes; siblings, William Jennes and Patricia (Gary Brink) Bultemeier; and nephews and niece, Brendan and Alexandra Bultemeier and William Jennes, Jr.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, William Francis Jennes.

The memorial visitation will be Friday, June 2, from 2 p.m. until the celebration of Connie's life at 4 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.
