Connie M. Roeder (nee Krantz), 65, of Round Lake Beach, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at JourneyCare, Arlington Heights.  She was born April 7, 1956, in Elmhurst, IL, to the late Ronald and Phyllis (nee Wiswell) Krantz.

Connie was a very active member of Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Bede Church, Ingleside, where she was a eucharistic minister, lector, greeter, and devoted member of the Legion of Mary.  A Certified Public Accountant, Connie graduated from Antioch High School and went on to earn degrees from Lake County College and Trinity International University, Deerfield.  She enjoyed stamping and creating custom greeting cards.

Survivors include her sisters, Caroline (the late Fred Roeder and the late Fred Heuer) Heuer and Cathy (David) St. John; nephews, Fred "Bucky" (Sheila) Heuer, Thomas R. Combs, and Rick Steiskal; grandnephew, Charlie Heuer; her beloved Westie, Maddie; and many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roeder; and sister, Candy (the late Charles) Steinbauer.

Visitation Friday, October 15, from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Interment private.
