Christopher "Chris" Oaf, 51, of Fox Lake, passed unexpectedly Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  Born June 28, 1974, in Waukegan, he grew up in Round Lake.

Survived by brothers, John (Connie) Oaf Jr. of McHenry and David Oaf of Rockford; nephews and niece, Robert Oaf, Jessica (Michael) Bundy, and Bryan (Morgan and Michael) Haulbrook; great-nephews and nieces, Cody, Mason, Sophia and Evelyn "Evie"; brother-in-law, Robert Haulbrook; sister-in-law, Lynn Oaf; and many, many wonderful friends.  Preceded by parents, John B. and Helen (nee Bell) Oaf Sr.; and siblings, William "Billy", Mary Haulbrook, Edward, Michael, and infant brother, Glen.

Chris worked at National Plastics and Seals, Schaumburg, and enjoyed RC cars, jet skiing, and camping.  He was always glad to help his friends with a project or lend a hand to a person in need.

Memorial visitation Thursday, October 30, from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m., at  RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. MILWAUKEE AVE., LAKE VILLA  .  Urn burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
