Christine Marie Zanzola (nee Johnson), 65, of Johnsburg, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2019, at Northwestern McHenry Hospital.  She was born April 11, 1954, in Waukegan, to the late Lorraine and Rosemary (nee Piquette) Johnson.

Chris loved to craft, and was known to create Christmas gifts for her entire family.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, John T. Zanzola III; Jennifer Rose Zanzola, Michaeleen Ann Johnson, Mary Elizabeth Callas, Tomas John (Elizabeth) Zanzola, and James (Justina) Breest; grandchildren, Kenneth John Zanzola, Isabella and Azaria Callas, Emily and Grace Zanzola, and Emma Donna Zanzola; siblings, Mary (Ron) Glaves, Larry (Brenda) Johnson, Martie (Rich) Bowman, Joanne (Ray) Keel, Rose Katherine Johnson, Wayne (Angela) Johnson, and Joe (Shelley) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bob" Johnson; niece, Amy Keel; and nephew, Nathaniel Johnson.

Visitation 3-7 p.m., Saturday, October 19, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment Private.
