Charlotte Vicek age 79

A resident of Ballwin MO formerly of Ingleside and Chicago passed away November 30, 2010. She was born October 7, 1931 in Chicago to Robert and Rose Vlasta (nee Vokac) Minarik.

Charlotte enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on puzzles, gardening, arts and crafts, travel, and celebrating her family heritage. As a young woman she was active in sports and Masonic organizations, including Job's Daughters and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Berwyn Chapter. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the business formerly known as Liberty Asphalt Products in Grayslake, IL.

She is Survived by her dear children Valorie (Thomas) Ferlis of Ballwin, MO & Jeffery Vicek of Champaign, IL; her beloved grandchildren William, Timothy & Christopher Ferlis and her dear sister Lorraine Sadilek, along with loving nieces, nephews, and cousins in her treasured family.

She was preceded by her devoted husband Anthony (Tony) in 2004, her parents, her sisters Laverne Minarik, and infant twin sisters Rose & Rose.

Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at K.K. Hamsher Funeral home, 12 N Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL 60020.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Internment to follow at Grant Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Humane Society of Missouri, or to any organization supporting veteran cause
