Charles Larson's Obituary

Charles David Larson, born September 17, 1923 in Kalispell, Montana to
Grant and Ella (nee Gudmundson) Larson. Chuck fell asleep in Christ on January 1, 2013.

Those who mourn are his loving wife of 38 years, Judith; his dear sons, David (Deborah) and Gregory (Connie); precious grandchildren, Grant, Blake (Stephanie); Rachel, Stephanie, Bill and Clayton; sweet great-grandchildren, Alice and Mark, and his dear sister Jeannette Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Grant Larson and his first wife, Velma Tonyan Larson.

Chuck was involved in construction most of his life, going into his own business as Chuck Larson Excavating and then Chuck Larson Crane Service.
He was very talented with his inventions and innovations using metal and taught himself to be an excellent wood-worker and chainsaw carver, making many different items for his church, Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake.
His pride and joy was the 1938 Allis Chalmers tractor that his sons surprised him with one year.

A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church 25519 Illinois 134 Ingleside (Long Lake), with a visitation beginning at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church in memory would be appreciated.
