Charles R. Fanning, 77, of Springdale, AR, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale.  He was born December 4, 1938, in Peoria, OK.

Charles loved fishing, hunting, and growing tomatoes.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta (nee Helms); children, Chuck (Mary) Fanning of Borden, IN, Lynnette Fanning of Boise, ID, and Robb (Mat Olejniczak) Fanning of Fox Lake, IL; and grandchildren, Joy Fanning of Borden, Mark Fanning of Columbia, MO, and Seth Hamm of Boise.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Caleb Hamm.

The memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 19, from 3 p.m. until the celebration of Charles' life at 4 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Pastor Jana Chwalisz will be the officiant.  Inurnment will be private.
