Cassandra Lin Hayden, 28, of Fox Lake, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, July 8, 2016.  She was born May 12, 1988, in Kokomo, IN, to Sam and Donnalin (nee Bensen) Hayden.

Cassandra was an artist who loved to sing, dance, and act.  She was bright, beautiful like roses, sweet as sugar, full of sunshine, and could make everyone laugh.  She had a strong faith and believed in the Lord.  Cassandra loved fashion and was very classy.

Survivors include her parents, Donnalin Hayden of Antioch and Sam Joe (Trisha) Hayden, Jr. of New Salisbury, IN; siblings, Crystallin (Robert) Hayden-Aughinbaugh, Sam Joe Hayden III, Jackie Hayden, Taylor Holland, Abbey Hayden, and Josh Hayden; nephew, Sam Joe Hayden IV; grandpa, Robert Bensen of Silver Lake, WI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cassandra was preceded in death by brother, Derek Hayden; grandma, Dorothy Bensen; and grandparents, Sam Joe and Charlotte Hayden.

The visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, from 3 p.m., until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
