Carol A. Parker's Obituary

Carol A. Parker (nee Bartlett), 75, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at Centegra Hospital in McHenry.
She was born in Chicago to Eleanore (nee Wulf) and Robert Bartlett. She was married in 1956 to Richard L. Parker and was a resident of Fox Lake for 45 years, growing up in McHenry and wintering in Harlingen, TX. She was also a member of Fox Lake Fire Department Womens' Auxiliary and a member of the Red Hat Society in Harlingen, TX. She was a housewife and a mother who enjoyed going to garage sales, Bingo and loved dancing of all kinds.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Parker; her children, Phyllis (Bob) Schweiss, Greg Parker, Mary (Bill) Baccia and Nancy Janke; her brother Richard "Dick" Bartlett, Sr.; dear friend, Christine Slotowski; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and 2 sisters.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 19, from 4 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. memorial service at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Interment will be private.
