Carol Gorski (nee Schmidt), a longtime resident of Lake Villa, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.  She was born February 27, 1948, in Chicago, to the late Carl and Mary (nee Hanson) Schmidt.

Carol greatly enjoyed being with her family—especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dog, Bo.

Survivors include her children, Harry (Shannon) Gorski, Joe Gorski, and Kris (Vincent Connor) Gorski; grandchildren, Taylor (Jacob) Skewes, Tyler (Jenna) Gorski, Sophie and Charlie Shaw, and Cameron, Logan, and Ashlyn Gorski; great-grandchildren, Marcella Skewes and Elijah, Leah, and Seth Gorski; brother, Ted Schmidt; and her black lab, Bo.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gorski, Jr. on October 30, 2012.

Visitation Wednesday, February 17, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Burial will follow in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
