Candy L. Steinbauer, 65, of Round Lake Beach, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 29, 2016, at Centegra Condell Hospital, Libertyville.

Born September 17, 1950, in Chicago, to the late Ronald and Phyllis (nee Wiswell) Krantz, she married the late Charles "Charlie" Steinbauer on May 7, 1970.

An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Candy worked for American Marketing in Mundelein for 20 years.  She enjoyed scrap booking, making custom greeting cards, and Friday-night fish fries.

Survivors include her sisters, Caroline Heuer Spring Grove, Cathy (Dave) St. John of Pickerel, WI, Connie Roeder of Round Lake Beach; nephews, Fred (Sheila) Heuer, Thomas Combs, and Richard Steiskal; and great nephew, Charlie Heuer.

Candy was preceded in death by her husband Charlie in 2005; and by her parents.

The visitation will be Saturday, September 3, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.
