Bruce D. Heimark's Obituary

Bruce D. Heimark, 86, of Fox Lake, Formerly of Minneapolis, peacefully passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012. Born on January 2, 1926, in Fargo, ND, to Dr. Julius J. and Esther (nee Moe) Heimark.

(Greg) Watson and Jamie H. Schneiter; his siblings, Betty Kitchell and Dr. John J. (Ann) Heimark; and by many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Bruce loved pheasant hunting, especially in North Dakota. He was an avid snow skier until the age of 70 and took great pride in having introduced his granddaughters and son in law to the sport. He rigged his own sail boat, the WINTER WIND, built his custom golf clubs and was a talented woodworker. Bruce was a born storyteller, his blue eyes always kind, even as he beat you in a game of cards. He and Lee loved to travel.
