Bruce W. Beck, a long time resident of Spring Grove, passed away on August 8, 2013. Born on April 7, 1938 in Maywood, IL to Burr and Esther (nee Fortun) Beck.
Bruce loved his family and greatly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a wonderful and devoted Christian. He also enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ann (nee Polischuk); his dear children, Joseph Beck, Lynette (Tim) Fennell, David (Sheri) Beck, Jamie Beck, Amy Vicari and Jill (JosAC.) Fernandez; his grandchildren, Mandy (Stephen) Love, Laura (Curtis) Borchardt, Mary (Kurt) Ruhnke, David and Michael Fennell, Michelle (Samuel) Sadler, Samantha (Kyle) Killinger, Jeff, Allison, Nicole and Kelly Beck, Kailee, Jack, Hanna, Brandon and Nathan Vicari and Jayden Fernandez; his great-grandchildren, Hailey Borchardt, Stephen Love and Arya Ruhnke; his siblings, Donald Beck and Ruth (Jay) Peters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his siblings, Richard and Jack.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. The visitation will resume on Tuesday, from 10:30 until the 11:30 a.m. service at Chapel on the Hill, N2440 Ara Glenn Dr., Lake Geneva, WI, 53147. Interment will be private.
