Bonnie Jean Minkler-Harris, 50, of Fox Lake, passed away June 8, 2017, surrounded by family at JourneyCare in Woodstock.  Bonnie was born October 31, 1966, in Waukegan, to Anne and Terry Minkler.  She was Miss Lake Villa of 1984.  Bonnie's passion was horses and she won many trophies and ribbons at horse shows.  She had a love of all animals and had many pets through the years.  She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Harris; mother, Anne Minkler; brother, Sherman Minkler, and sons, Cody Connerty, Dylan Lewis, Brandon Lewis, and LJ Harris.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Minkler; maternal grandparents, Angus and Margaret Morrison; paternal grandparents, Harold and Vivian Minkler, and Lenore Tycocki; aunts, Isabelle Ponte and Patricia Morrison; uncle, George Minkler; and cousin, Vance Ferry.  The memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m., until the celebration of Bonnie's life at 11 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  The committal will be private.
