Bernard Dipiero's Obituary

Bernard J. DiPiero, a resident of Fox Lake, formerly of Wheeling, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2012. He was born on November 22, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Matt and Hannah (nee Labanchnic) DiPiero.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He was a member of Amvets, Post 66 in Wheeling and American Legion, Post 703 in Fox Lake. He was also a bricklayer and a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
Bernard will be deeply missed by his dear son, Tony DiPiero of Fox Lake; his brothers Matt DiPiero of FL and Bob (Linda) DiPiero of WI; and his nephews Greg (Donna) and Jeff (Renee) DiPiero.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elayne DiPiero and his parents.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 12, from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3:30 PM with Deacon Larry Spohr officiating, at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment will be at private.
