Benno Martin Freund
Age 76. A longtime resident of Ingleside passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born July 20, 1932. He was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside for the past 48 years and choir member.

He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved spending time with his family and attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary (nee Ziegler); his children, Denise, Kathy (Don), Kim (Larry), Julie (Steve), Kevin (Darby), and Jamie; grandchildren, Jay, Ben, Becca, Grace, Dillon, Reese, Alex, Branden and Peri; sisters, Pat Kerr and Betty Price; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of dear friends also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road in Fox Lake.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Fremont Center.

In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to the St. Bede Faith Formation Center will be appreciated.
