Hill, Arthur E., Jr. Age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was born in Fox Lake on July 27, 1929 to Arthur E. and Margaret (nee Bubbels) Hill, Sr. Arthur was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Gurnee American Legion, Post 771 for over 50 years. He enjoyed politics and was a village trustee in Volo. He owned and operated the Volo Emporium in Volo, IL for the past 20 years. Arthur will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Judith (nee Mogenson) Hill, his children Dave, Cathy and Doug Hill, his grandchildren Rachel, Amanda and Lindsey, his great-grandchildren Jason, Tyler and Kyle and his brothers Bill (Jeanette) Hill and Ron (Angie) Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 2 PM until 5 PM with the service at 4 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment will be private.
