Anna T. Kornau (nee Aicher) age 81
A resident of Mc Henry, Il. formerly of Waukegan , Wisconsin Dells, and Chicago died Sunday Oct. 18, 2009 at the Centegra Hospital, Mc Henry, Il. She was born on Jan. 21, 1928 in Germany to Joseph and Theresa (nee Sternner) Aicher. After her marriage to Erwin Kornau she had been a housewife and mother at home. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading and helping others. While residing in Wis. she had volunteered her time working with the elderly and at a local soup kitchen.
She will be greatly missed by her children:
Barbara (Tony) Trepesch of Germany, Klaus "Billy" (the late Cynthia) Kornau of Mc Henry, Maryann ( Mike)
Pandorski of Waukegan and Erwin Kornau of Chicago,Il.
Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and step grandchildren. By a brother Joseph (Elaine) Aicher of Chicago and Sister Maria Vogl of Huntley, former daughter-in-law Marilyn, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Hans, brother Robert,daughter-in-law Cynthia, sister-in-law Freida, and brother-in-law Stephen.
