Anita Marie Crofoot, 61, of Fox Lake, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Hillcrest Nursing Center, Round Lake Beach.

She was born July 23, 1953 to Cecilia (nee Hofbauer) and the late Wendell Crofoot.

Anita had a big heart and was a wonderful caregiver.  She enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff West of Fox Lake and John West of McHenry; grandchildren, Bradley, Shane, Chase and Ashton West; mother, Cecilia Crofoot of Dekalb; siblings, Doris (Howard) Rubeck of Sycamore, Betty Patterson of DeKalb, Bob Crofoot of Topeka, KS, and Bill Crofoot of Dekalb; and many nieces and nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy West; and father, Wendell Crofoot.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 20, at Light House Church, 2742 Barney Ct., McHenry.  Inurnment will be private.
