Alan Leonard Schultz

Alan Leonard Schultz, a long time resident of Fox Lake, passed away on May 25, 2011. He was born in Chicago on August 27, 1952 to Leonard and Winona (nee Hagen) Schultz.

Alan was a big Chicago sports fan, especially the Cubs. He was a little league coach and was a goalie for various hockey teams. Alan also enjoyed gardening, the Food Network and cooking.

Alan will be deeply missed by his loving children, Lisa Martinez of Texas, Jay, Jason and Jeremy Schultz of Fox Lake; his beloved dogs Buddy and Pup; his dear sisters Barbara (Tom) Corcoran of Fox Lake, Patricia (David) Gilbert of Johnsburg and Jackie (Jack) Shoblom of Harvard, IL; by his adored granddaughters Brittany and Brandy Martinez; and by his best-friend Paula Majka. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
