Agnes Kretsch, 95, passed away on August 14th, 2010 in Barrington, IL. She was born in Easby, North Dakota to Anton and Mary (nee Stremik) Fickert.
Anges enjoyed gardening. She was also a member of the cancer survivor group, the ladies clubs, and was a long time employee of the Rustic Manor Restaurant.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Barb, Annie, John, William, Louis, Katy, Jake, Joseph, Mary, and Frances.
Agnes is survived by her children Sharon (Patrick) Watson of McHenry; her son Curt Kretsch of McHenry; her grandchildren Christine (John) Gordon of McHenry, Michael Watson of McHenry, step-great grandson Jonathan Donavon of McHenry; and by her sister Elizabeth Schwehr.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, August 19th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church Street, Johnsburg followed by a mass at 11:00. Burial will follow.
